Creating a Star Wars room is all about accessorizing. While there's a great deal of Star Wars room decor available online such as Classic Star Wars Bedroom, wall graphics, posters and more, the surrounding details of the bedroom must be Star Wars-specific in order to really bring out the feel of the room. The best Star Wars theme rooms will be rich in all the little details that matter so much.
If you are a builder, consider making your own AT-AT bed. The AT-AT is an all terrain armored transport vehicle that resembles an animal with four legs. To create this contraption, start by building a simple loft style bed. If you're familiar with CAD drawing and have that software available to you, you can actually print the model to scale for easier creation. If not, then trial and error will have to work. Start with cardboard templates and keep trying until you get the right dimensions. Once you are pleased with your cutouts, trace them onto your plywood. If you have electrical experience, try adding some blinking lights, buttons, and working switches for the full spaceship effect.
When it comes to decorating the walls of your child's room, it's always nice to have something that will come right off. If your little one is a big fan of the Clone Wars movie or cartoon, series, these are perfect. They're based on the hit Cartoon Network series, and feature all the show's popular characters. You get Anakin Skywalker, Asoka Tano, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, R2D2 as well as many of the Jedi and Sith logos - all in a sheet of easy peel-and-stick decals that smooth right on and right off the walls of your child's bedroom. Turn off the lights... and they even glow in the dark!
